Wear it Well: Etsy Makers Cornwall
Etsy Makers Cornwall: Wear it Well
We were very pleased to welcome designer and illustrator Alison Bick to our Future Focus Wear it Well event. Alison runs her own business creating unique illustrations inspired by the natural world and family events with a mid-century modern feel. In the Communication Revolution afternoon session Alison gave us her experience and insights into selling online as a creative business, specifically using the platform Etsy. As well as running her own business, in 2016 Alison co-founded the local Etsy team Etsy Makers Cornwall, organising the first ever Etsy Made Local Fair which took place at the Guildhall St Ives. Watch the video to see how Etsy has helped Alison sell online as well as being part of a community offline.
Do you want to understand what your brand means to your customers and how to communicate the value of your products and services effectively? As part of Future Focus we’re running a number of Labs on Brand Marketing and Digital Communications to help you identify new and existing customer segments, establish the best ways to engage with your audience and plan the resources needed to deliver your brand strategy and marketing activities. Through our Lab sessions, you will gain active market insights and discover how small businesses can more rapidly explore, pilot and scale new approaches to engagement – enabling you to connect and create a three-dimensional understanding of your customer.
This Lab starts on the 21st June and places are filling up fast. Don’t miss out and register your interest today, call us on: 0845 6003660 or fill out an expression of interest here.
Labs are typically three half-day sessions, run over consecutive months. Taking part in the Future Focus programme could allow you to tap into resources such as mentoring, job support and salary subsidy.
