Sophia Goldsack – Operations Manager
After graduating from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Media Arts, Sophia has spent the last 10 years in operational and administrative roles, mostly within Educational environments.
Having successfully completed her degree, Sophia moved to Bristol where she spent several years progressing her career and developing skills and knowledge in many key areas of day-to-day organisational operations. Having been born and bred in Cornwall and missing seaside living, the lure of the coast meant Sophia and her two cats, Pierre and Penelope, packed up and returned home in 2019 where she joined the team at Unlocking Potential.
Now in the role of Operations Manager, Sophia oversees project compliance, finance, processes, systems and manages our brilliant team of Project Officers.
What inspires you?
Getting out and about! Seeing new places, meeting new people, experiencing, and learning new things – both locally and further afield. I love hearing other people’s stories and past times, it always inspires me. I have a huge bucket list of places I want visit and things I want to see and do!
How do you switch off and relax?
You will always find me near, on, or in the sea, it’s always been my happy place. I like to keep active and do lots of coastal walking, SUP-ing and Pilates.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Oh, it has to be naughty foods! ALL the naughty foods.
