Video: Five businesses tell us why they use Future Focus
What Cornwall’s businesses say about Future Focus
A lot of different businesses looking for a lot of different things come to Future Focus. We try to make sure they always get what they want from the programme; and we never discount the possibility they’ll also take away unexpected positives, stretch and surprise themselves. Sometimes you just don’t know what you don’t know.
Here’s a small selection of business’s reaction to Future Focus:
Green & Blue
An introduction to the concept of BCorp, shooting the breeze with the media in London, and the reassurance that comes from knowing you’ll quickly get answers to the questions you ask.
A sense of being supported, help taking on another employee, and a knowledge exchange. To summarise: “it’s been brilliant”.
An object lesson in why successful email marketing often starts with a smaller database after a cull of names who never engage (counter-intuitive but true). Plus, help growing a two-strong team to nine, time-management mentoring and a PR Lab event to showcase some of the best of Cornwall in London.
Just take the first step and get involved, even if this is something you’ve never done, or even contemplated, before.
When a company’s grown organically in its own idiosyncratic way, how do you get your head around the job of fundamentally restructuring it for the better? (Spoiler alert: you talk to Future Focus.)
