Future Focus Lab Trips: Top Drawer 2019
Future Focus Lab Trips: Top Drawer
Catching a train, leaving Cornwall, arriving at Paddington and discovering the delights that Top Drawer has to offer at the London Olympia – that’s exactly what a group of twenty one Cornish Businesses did this September through the Unlocking Potential Future Focus lab trip.
Top Drawer is for creatives who live and breathe design. The two-day exhibition expands thinking, generates fresh ideas and seeks to inspire through the positioning of carefully curated global products.
Allyson Glover, Unlocking Potential Programme Director, said:
We’ve taken businesses to Top Drawer to give them the opportunity to look at everything the show has to offer. It’s been a fantastic opportunity for up and coming brands. The big message is, before you commit, do the research, who are your target audience and will you meet the needs of that audience. We’ve been helping businesses work out what to do if a buyer comes and offers a great deal – how will they deal with it. It’s great to hear that many of the businesses are going to commit to coming to Top Drawer in 2020. When you can put your business on a global stage like Top Drawer, you really have your brand moving.
Stevie McCrindle, Owner of Sea Moor Cornwall, attended the Future Focus Lab Trip to Top Drawer and commented:
I’ve been with a wonderful group of businesses from Cornwall who are all like-minded. Coming to Top Drawer has been fantastic as I have now recognised where I need to place myself in the market. Coming up with Unlocking Potential has been great; they have been able to guide us and give a vision that we might not be able to identify ourselves.
