Event Details

‘Vision, mission and values’ trip easily off the tongue, but figuring out what they actually mean,
and how they affect your business and your team, is harder, more detailed work.
This two-part workshop helps you focus on your ultimate destination, on what motivates you all
every day, and on your organisation’s core beliefs.
Being certain of these, and communicating them so that customers and teams are equally
clear, brings consistency, confidence and a strong commercial advantage.
Expert facilitators Sally Read and Chloe Windo’s fresh blend of creative brand development and
people, processes and strategy will give you – and, ultimately, all your people – useable skills as
well as knowledge, helping you to position your business creatively and effectively in a
competitive landscape.

The workshop will leave you clearer than when you began about what fundamentally matters to
your organisation. This clarity’s the base on which your strategic vision is built, and it’s the
source of everything you and your teams communicate to your customers.
It’s not just a question of what you communicate, either, it’s how you do it. Which is why you’ll
also leave equipped with a creative step-by-step process which will help to embed your
refreshed vision, mission and values throughout your business.

Knowing where you’re going is key to getting there, and key to others following you.
It’s this vision which helps you to plan for growth, and it will also:

  • Engage staff
  • Give structure and direction, which helps decision-making
  • Help customers understand exactly what you’re about
  • Give you credibility
  • Help you speak more clearly to your target market
  • Enable you to build a consistent brand
  • Mean you can identify and recruit the right people.

You and your peers will explore, and understand the difference between, vision and mission, and
their importance to your business’s development and success.
The insights you take away will not be theoretical; you’ll have creative techniques for defining
your mission and vision, and for getting them understood, accepted and implemented by your team.

You’ll also leave clearer on the distinction between internal and external brand values, and how
you communicate effectively to your people as well as your customers.
Your own role in all this is also crucial, and the course will leave you better equipped with the
self-awareness you need both to lead and be a collaborator and enabler in a co-creation
