Maximising Online Sales in Quarter Four
- Session 1: 16 September
- Session 2: 21 September
- Session 3: 23 September
- Session 4: 28 September
What will be covered?
Four sessions in two weeks to gear up for your three biggest months (and beyond)
Nobody needs lessons in the importance of Q4. But even if you can rely on the golden quarter’s sales outstripping the other three, why leave it to the calendar to see sales spike?
Why not get your comms, marketing, sales strategies and stock systems as on-point and pin-sharp as they can be?
Four three-hour sessions (9:30-12:30, online) will help you do more than reap winter rewards; they’ll equip you with the tools, tech and know-how to make your year-round online sales as efficient and user-friendly as they can be.
Our online sessions are always interactive, interesting, and broken up with practical activities, time for discussion, and Q&As with our guest speakers:
Jaye Cowle of Launch Online kicks us off on 16 September with a session on search results, YouTube, Google Merchant Center, Bing and product reviews.
Five days later, Jarrang’s Ben Hocking will talk about email marketing: how to maximise your efficiency so you retain and grow a loyal customer base.
On the 23rd, Oh So Social’s Katherine George leads you through how to supercharge your social media, covering ways to improve your organic presence, using social to drive sales, Facebook and Instagram shops, Ads management, and everything you need to know about social media and Black Friday,
Our last session touches on fulfilment, stock control, e-commerce and how integrating systems improves efficiencies for you and your customers all year. E-commerce expert Jaco Coetzee, (Trading Manager at Taylor and Francis, formally of Tempest, Frugi, TDA capital and VisitBritain) will share his experience and real-life examples of establishing a slick and sophisticated e-commerce system. Mish Poynter, Retail Fixers, will ask ‘Is amazon your friend or foe’, looking at ways to use it without selling on the platform. She will explore manual vs automated stock control and seasonal and scaling up fulfilment strategies.
Last year’s sessions were a big success, and Gemma Teague, co-founder of Atlantic Blankets, agrees:
“The labs have certainly made us better at planning and measuring, not only in Q4 but throughout the year … They’ve also helped us to realise what’s important and what capacity we have in our business … last year, with a clear focus and a Q4 plan, we exceeded all expectations of sales.”
Take the time to dedicate to Q4, to step outside of the day-to-day and focus on your most important quarter (and beyond). This series is designed for businesses based in Cornwall and IoS, who are selling products online with a turnover of £250k or more.
Book your place now, there’s no fee to attend as its part of the Future Focus programme. We will ask you to complete a short form for our funders, ERDF.
