Event Details

How can challenge help us to grow? Learn how resilience at individual, team and organizational levels can help turn crisis into opportunity.

There’s no doubting that we’ve all been tested over the past 12 months and taking time to reflect on personal and organisational resilience is vital.

In 2021 the University of Exeter would like to help businesses across Cornwall explore what resilience means to them. We would like to make this both impactful and fun, so our sessions will now involve our delegates using LEGO®! This is a proven concept designed to help you to explore more in-depth topics using the bricks as a way to construct thoughts and ideas relating to business strategy.

LEGO® Group has been inspiring children to ‘build their dreams’ for decades and this session aims to help you and your colleagues build visions for future business strategy.

The first session on 25th Feb will help you understand what resilience is and how it could be implemented in your business. We will cover the below themes in a two hour bite size session led by Professor Stefano Pascucci, from the Business School.

The second session on 4th March follows up on these themes using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® a methodology that is built upon a process which stems from the heart of LEGO® elements and the LEGO® building system. Each delegate will receive a LEGO® set through the post and across this two hour session we will be challenging you to build, share and reflect on key themes discussed by Professor Stefano Pascucci.

The two sessions will be informal and an opportunity to gain an understanding of the value of employees and the concept of an evolving, adaptive strategy that includes using LEGO® elements as three-dimensional models to visualise business issues and challenges.

Do something different this month and join us to play with LEGO® and build your resilience.
