Breakthrough Stories: Rebelicious Sauces
Relocating from London to Cornwall, Tilly attended the Breakthrough Workshop & now sells her sauces on Amazon.
Tilly Aviram from Rebelicious Sauces launched her business to create and manufacture salt and sugar-free sauces.
Designed to be a cook-in sauce, providing a healthy option for babies, toddlers and adults, Tilly decided to create the sauces having been unable to find any healthy products for baby-led weaning on the supermarket shelves which weren’t purees.
When we lived in London, I found it hard to make quick healthy lunches and dinners, without sugar or salt for my daughter when she started weaning. So I came up with the idea of making our own products.
When Tilly and her family relocated to Cornwall, she contacted Unlocking Potential and took part in the two-day Breakthrough Workshop.
Breakthrough helped me formulate who we are as a brand, I wrote my mission statement and outlined my brand values. I examined the brand; who we are and what we believe in.
What’s next for Rebelicious Sauces in 2019/20?
We’ve teamed up with sugar wise and in September we’re going to lobby at parliament, talking to parliament about our products. We’re launching in a pub in Penzance, we’re now sold in the Cornish Food Box and have teamed up with a herbal tea company to run a competition on Instagram.
Rebelicious Sauces are now sold internationally through companies such as Amazon, the Eden Project, HomeSence and thefoodmarket.com.
