Anne-Marie Young – Innovation Manager
Anne-Marie joins Unlocking Potential as the Innovation Manager to deliver the Future Focus project to the Cornish SME community, focussing on Social Care and Health.
Before joining Unlocking Potential she worked at Cornwall College for 10 years as a Curriculum Lead for Social Care and Health. She led on curriculum management, delivering innovative education and training, operational leadership of people and working with external stakeholders and employers in Cornwall.
She has worked in education and training for 18 years and has always been passionate about working on change management, innovative ideas with communities on projects and events, coaching and mentoring and people transformation.
In January 2016 she set up a memory café for people with Dementia on the Cornwall College Camborne site, which is a person centred intergenerational community project. Anne-Marie also volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Society as a Dementia Friends Champion.
When not at work she enjoys reading, textiles, interior design, growing fruits and vegetables and spending time with her partner, dog, cats and chickens and enjoying the Cornish coastline.
